To develop young Malaysians' creative potential and equip them with creative skills and methodologies of expression, appreciation, communication, analysis and research in the fields of design, visual and performing arts.

To inculcate critical thinking in the fields of art and design, visual and performing arts via education programmes at tertiary level.
