创意陶艺坊

(324618-X)

Ceramics as an art has flourished and gained much prestige in the past decade.  It seduces the practitioner with the different elements of beauty, utility and history.  Working with earth, water, fire and air to produce an artistic product is an exhilarating experience both for professionals as well as for beginners. Learning the different techniques and having the experience to mould and shape the clay to the design from your imagination and creativity is timeless.  It is also therapeutic to express our feelings in our creations.

This basic pottery course will provide an opportunity or the students to hand build clay pieces.  The classes will introduce you to the basics of pottery making.  You will be inducted to the different techniques of pottery-making from time-honoured traditional methods to exciting new developments in this contemporary setting.  Students will begin with the preparation of the materials for the class and will be guided with step-by-step illustration before creating your own individual masterpieces of table-ware, vase, jewellery box, etc.
