The Malaysian Institute of Art Library was established in 1967 when the Institute opened its campus in Bukit Bintang. In 1988, the Library moved to its present campus in Taman Melawati. It is situated on the ground floor of the campus.
The objective of the Library is to support the teaching, learning and research activities of the Institute as well as to advance the liberal education of its users.There are books, magazines and reference materials in the Library to cater to the students’ quest for knowledge and information of art, design and music.
Our services and facilities include loan of reading material, daily newspapers, internet access, scanning, Photostatting, printing, laminating etc.
